I've heard this song so many times, and on each occasion it brings tears to my eyes.
"Lord make me a rainbow, I'll shine down on my mother
She'll know I'm safe with you when she stands under my colors, oh and life ain't always what you think it ought to be, no - ain't even grey, but she buries her baby... The sharp knife of a short life, well, I've had just enough time..."

I heard this song on the way home from Vegas, and it made me feel exactly the same way.It is so strange to me that songs that never would have made me blink twice can now reduce me to tears in just a few bars.
Erin, how I understand... It still makes me cry, and I wait to see my rainbow.
